Curriculum

Open the faculty and student curriculum materials included with eligible SimVS licenses.

Curriculum is a license-dependent Portal workspace for faculty and student materials. Multi Patient Curriculum presents a four-patient teaching set with supporting packets, debrief guides, and assessment rubrics.

Curriculum access varies by organization and license. If Curriculum is not in the sidebar, check Profile and ask your SimVS administrator to confirm access.

Find a Patient Packet

Open Curriculum in the left sidebar. The overview presents a card for each patient in the licensed teaching set.

Each card provides:

Open — open that patient’s packet page.
Faculty — select the instructor-facing packet.
Student — select the learner-facing packet.

The controls that open or save a file are on the patient’s packet page, not the overview card:

Open PDF — open the selected packet in a browser PDF view.
Download — save the selected packet to the computer.

Choose a Patient

Find the patient card needed for the activity and select Open.

Choose the Audience

Select Faculty for instructor materials or Student for learner materials. Confirm the selected tab before opening or downloading the file.

Open or Download

Select Open PDF to read the selected packet in the browser, or Download to save a local copy.

Handle Curriculum Materials Responsibly

The packets are licensed educational materials. Share them only with authorized instructors or learners according to your organization’s SimVS license.

Always confirm whether Faculty or Student is selected before sharing a file. Faculty materials may contain facilitation, assessment, or debrief information that should not be distributed to learners in advance.

Troubleshooting

Curriculum is missing: Review the licenses listed in Profile, then ask your SimVS administrator or info@simvs.com to confirm access.
The wrong packet opens: Return to the patient page and select the intended Faculty or Student tab.
The preview is blank: Try Open PDF, confirm the browser allows PDF viewing, or use Download.
A download cannot be found: Check the browser’s download list and the computer’s Downloads folder.
