Essential Functions
The SimVS-IV simulator supports the following infusion modes:
- Primary Infusion — standard continuous IV delivery
- Secondary Infusion — piggyback medication delivery
- Bolus — rapid single-dose delivery
- Dose-based drug infusion — delivery calculated by drug dosage
- Weight-based drug infusion — delivery calculated by patient weight
- Volume-based drug infusion — delivery calculated by total volume to be infused
